  • Fitness to participate AND USI that can be verified to ensure release of Statement of Attainment
  • Access to computer and internet, along with appropriate business software e.g: Microsoft Word and Acrobat Reader
  • Sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills to complete the course

Physical Requirements:

This course requires a low to moderate level of physical activity, with an emphasis on mobility, observation, and communication skills in both office and worksite environments.

To successfully complete this course, you will need to be physically able to:

  • Attend and participate in discussions, meetings, and simulated workplace inspections.
  • Walk through work areas or sites to observe contractor work practices and safety compliance (may include uneven ground or stairs).
  • Stand, move, and take notes during inspections or compliance checks.
  • Read and interpret workplace safety documentation, signage, and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with contractors, supervisors, and other personnel regarding WHS compliance issues.
  • Complete written reports, checklists, and documentation relevant to contractor WHS performance.

  • Mobility to move through typical worksite areas during simulated compliance activities.
  • Visual capacity to observe contractor work practices and identify safety risks.
  • Manual dexterity for writing, completing forms, and using digital devices.
