Fire-Warden-Training-featured-scaled-1

WHY CHOOSE THIS COURSE

Our combined Fire Extinguisher and Warden course brings together nationally recognised training in workplace fire response and evacuation procedures. This course equips participants with the skills to safely operate portable fire-fighting equipment and perform the role of a Warden as part of an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO).

By combining both units into one course, participants gain practical fire response skills alongside an understanding of emergency procedures, communication, and evacuation responsibilities, supporting safer and more prepared workplaces.

This course is ideal for:

  • Staff required to use portable fire-fighting equipment in the workplace
  • Employees appointed as Wardens or members of an Emergency Control Organisation
  • Workplaces seeking to strengthen fire safety and emergency response capability
  • Organisations meeting fire safety and WHS obligations
  • Teams looking to improve overall emergency preparedness

Units of Competency

  • PUAFER008 Confine small emergencies in a facility
  • PUAFER005 Operate as part of an emergency control organisation
