Physical Requirements:

This course requires a basic level of mobility and dexterity, with most activities involving light manual handling and fine motor skills rather than heavy physical exertion.

To successfully complete this course, you will need to be physically able to:

  • Walk and move safely around plant and equipment areas.
  • Bend or stoop to access isolation points and apply locks or tags.
  • Handle and secure small lockout devices, padlocks, and tags (requires basic grip strength).
  • Write clearly on tags and complete simple isolation forms.
  • Stand and communicate effectively with others about the isolation process
