Prerequisites and Entry Requirements

Pre-Requisites:

NA

FSA Entry Requirements:

  • USI
  • Sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills to complete the course along with fitness to participate declaration. Entry requirements also include the need to adhere to weight restrictions of machinery being operated.
  • Participants must be 18 years or over
  • Participants are required to wear safety footwear, long sleeve shirts and long pants or overalls (site appropriate clothing, steel-cap boots and PPE). Participants may be refused entry where they attend without safety footwear.
  • Entry requirements also include the need to adhere to weight restrictions of machinery being operated.

Important information about the Operate EWP training:

Manufacturer's specifications for the EWP being utilised MUST be abided by, in particular the maximum person weight, eg. if the maximum person weight is 136kg, anyone above this weight CANNOT be permitted into the EWP Personnel bucket or platform.
