Learning Outcomes

  • UETDRMP009 Perform tower rescue

Prerequisites and Entry Requirements

Pre-requisites:

To be awarded the (current) Unit of Competency: UETDRMP009 Perform tower rescue, the below pre-requisites must be provided:

  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation:
    AND
    UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace:
    OR BOTH
    CPCCLDG3001 Licence to perform dogging
    CPCCLRG3001 Licence to perform rigging basic level

FSA Entry Requirements:

  • Current First Aid qualification (in addition to the pre-requisite requirement of HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
  • Previous nationally recognised training in heights rescue e.g: Rope/Vertical rescue
  • A sufficient level of fitness to complete the course
  • Appropriate safety footwear and PPE Clothing
  • PPE Clothing appropriate to site requirements
  • USI that can be verified to ensure release of Statement of Attainment
  • Sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills to complete the course.
  • Evidence of each participant holding the required pre-requisite and/or entry competency/s must be provided prior to entry into the course.

Where the participant fails to provide the entry / pre-requisite evidence, a Statement of Attainment will not be awarded for that Unit of Competency.
