Fire and Safety Australia (FSA) is thrilled to announce the addition of two brand-new Scania Aviation Rescue and Firefighting Appliances to our fleet. These cutting-edge vehicles are specifically designed for remote oil and gas sites and aerodrome emergency response operations, meeting the stringent Safer Together Oil and Gas standards and the international ICAO Category 5 standards.

Key Features of the New ARFF Fire Appliance:

  • 8000L Water Tank: Ensures ample water supply for extensive firefighting operations.
  • 1500L B Class Foam: Provides effective suppression of flammable liquid fires.
  • 4500lpm Pump: High-capacity pump for efficient water and foam discharge.
  • ARFF Overhead and Bumper Monitors with Pump and Roll: Advanced monitoring systems for precise firefighting control.
  • 250kg Dry Chem Unit and Hose Reel: Equipped for handling chemical fires.
  • Latest Crew Safety Technology: Enhances the safety of our emergency response teams.

These state-of-the-art appliances will be operational with our Emergency Services Officers at major oil and gas FIFO sites in Australia by late 2024. This significant investment underscores FSA’s commitment to providing the best possible emergency response services.
