Meet our Training Team.
Rochelle Egan (Victorian Training Team)- Who am I?
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF.
I started at FSA in Oct 2020 in the sales team, as sales support, then moved into a business development, and ultimately my current role as a Victorian trainer for the Fire and Safety Australia team. My favourite training courses to teach are CPR, First Aid, Fire training, and warden training.
I’m 32, VIC, Mum, Wife, and my favourite thing to do is travel. I’ve been to 56 countries and counting, although this has been challenging in the last few years!
My work background – I did 12 years in aquatics swim centres, mainly as assistant manager, and supervisor. I ran the swim teaching team, recruited, mentored, and trained them to teach the children. I loved doing the CPR sessions, and my passion was safety in and around pools, even worked with Lawrie Laurence on the 5 alive campaigns!
I then had a mid life crisis and decided to be a travel agent, and worked training the travel agents to be agents, so teaching them the systems, and how to work flight paths, to fly people around the world. Covid hit, and there obviously wasn’t any agents to train anymore.
Rochelle is a crucial part of our Vic Training Team, teaching learners FSA’s training courses across Victoria. Thank you Rochelle for all the work you do within your own team but also in improving the FSA world for all. Rochelle has been instrumental in making improvements around the Mulgrave Head Office, and constantly lives our thirst for improvement core value. Rochelle’s training courses are very practical, and highly realistic, giving our learners a ‘memorable’ training experience. Great to have you in the team!
