Safety Scholarship
On October 11, 2018, the NSCA Foundation National Safety Awards of Excellence took place in Doltone Park, Sydney. The National Safety Awards of Excellence are Australia’s longest running and only independent awards, recognising outstanding Work Health and Safety initiatives within Australia. Now in their 26th year, these awards continue to celebrate organisations and people that actively promote Work Health and Safety (WHS) as a cornerstone of elite business performance. The awards are open to any Australian operating business, organisation, and alliance or individual in the public or private sector, with a workplace health and safety initiative.
Finalists are formally recognised with winners announced at the National Safety Awards of Excellence gala luncheon. The presentation gala luncheon is a celebration of all the hard work teams and individuals contribute towards the health and safety of their colleagues and employees. Along with a celebration of the continuous improvement in their business performance.
Fire and Safety Australia donated and awarded two Safety Scholarships at the 2018 National Safety Awards of Excellence ceremony. With over 90 applicants, these two winners of the Safety Scholarships were chosen because they align with Fire and Safety Australia’s 4 Core Values. These Safety Scholarships are to help these two future leaders grow their safety careers. At Fire and Safety Australia, all actions of our company are based on our vision for the future and the four core values that we live by. Our purpose is ‘to forever change safety in the world…one experience at a time’. We believe in hands-on ‘memorable’ and practical training to make sure people get the most out of their training course with us.
