FSA delivered Compartment Fire Behaviour Training and Conduct Fire Team Operations to enhance their capability in responding to fires and other emergency situations. These courses focused on preparing participants to act swiftly and efficiently in fire-related scenarios, improving their overall response times and strategies. Additionally, we provided Road Crash Rescue training to ensure their personnel were ready to handle road accidents and emergencies at the mine site. This comprehensive training not only focused on theory but included hands-on practice in real-world scenarios, ensuring personnel were well-prepared for any situation.

On-Site and Off-Site Training Delivery

FSA ensured flexibility in training delivery by conducting both on-site and off-site training. This approach allowed BMA Coal to train their teams at the mining site, ensuring that personnel were familiar with the specific risks and challenges of working in that environment. Training was delivered at the actual sites where their teams work, incorporating site-specific hazards such as confined spaces and hazardous materials. We also delivered training in Darwin for the Emergency Response Team, preparing them for the annual Emergency Response competition. By providing off-site training, we ensured that personnel could practice emergency response procedures in a controlled, high-pressure environment, enhancing their readiness for real-world scenarios.
