Fire and Safety Australia is pleased to announce a significant milestone in our continued growth and commitment to regional training delivery – Sharp Training (RTO: 40478) has officially joined the FSA group.
With over 24 years of experience delivering high quality training across North Queensland and the Bowen Basin, Sharp Training is a respected and long-standing provider within the emergency response and safety training sector. Their team of more than 15 experienced trainers and support staff, coupled with well-established training centres in Mackay and Moranbah, will play a key role in strengthening FSA’s ability to deliver practical, site-ready training in some of Australia’s most high-risk environments.
This acquisition marks an important investment in FSA’s regional infrastructure. With permanent facilities now in two key Queensland hubs – Mackay and Moranbah – both featuring multiple training rooms and robust on-site capabilities, FSA is better positioned than ever to deliver consistent and high-quality training across the region.
Sharp Training’s local footprint extends to Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Emerald, Blackwater, Moranbah and surrounding areas, enabling streamlined training coordination across multiple operational sites. The integration of Sharp’s regional knowledge with FSA’s national reach means clients across Central and North Queensland can expect even greater flexibility, faster mobilisation, and minimal disruption to their operations.
From mines rescue and firefighting to confined space and height safety, FSA’s expanded capability ensures that emergency response teams receive the training they need – when and where they need it most.
This is an exciting new chapter in enhancing safety, capability, and preparedness for frontline workers in regional Australia. FSA remains committed to delivering the highest standard of training, equipment, and support to the industries we serve.
Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to grow and invest in delivering industry-leading safety and emergency response solutions across Australia.
