Delivered by seasoned instructors, this course combines real-world experience with practical aviation rescue and firefighting activities.

  • Aviation Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Objectives

Prerequisites and Entry Requirements

Pre-requisites:

PUAFIR220 Respond to isolated structure fire Or PUAFIR203 Respond to urban fire (or equivalent)

FSA Entry Requirements:

  • USI
  • Fitness to participate declaration – this is a physically demanding training course
  • Sufficient language, literacy & numeracy skills to complete the course
  • Safety footwear and PPE clothing appropriate to site requirements
  • Sufficient digital, language, literacy and numeracy skills to complete the course
  • Evidence of each participant holding the pre-requisite (PUAFIR220 or PUAFIR203) must be provided prior to entry into the course
