Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this program, participants will be awarded the following Nationally Recognised Units of Competency:

  • HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy

Prerequisites and Entry Requirements

Pre-requisites

HLTAID011 Provide first aid - evidence must be provided prior to course commencement

FSA Entry Requirements:

  • USI
  • Fitness to participate
  • The ability to perform CPR on the floor (this is an assessment condition)
  • Enclosed footwear
  • Sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills to complete the course

Evidence of holding the required pre-requisite (HLTAID011) must be provided via email to admin@fsaus.com.au prior to course commencement. Without evidence of this pre-requisite we will be unable to conduct the scheduled training as Nationally Recognised Training (a Certificate of Attendance only issued), or the training will need to be re-scheduled to a later date which will attract further fees.
