Mental Health First Aid Training

The last 2 years have had a profound effect on the way we live, work, socialise and even the way we go to the supermarket.

FSA and it’s staff have felt this just as much as any other organisation.  With constant lockdowns and boarder closures placing pressures on the business and it’s personnel.

In 2021 FSA introduced Mental Health First Aid into its scope. We have seen the need for additional mental health support within all industries and have worked closely with Mental Aid First Aid Australia and our own team to deliver a comprehensive program.

Steve McLeod and FSA made the commitment to ensuring that the mental health of our own staff continues to be a priority.  The MHFA course was open to all of our staff and over 60% have taken up this opportunity to date.

FSA also qualified for Gold status in the MHFA Australia Skilled Workplace program.  With the mental health of our staff and their families being a priority this was an important achievement.
