gwo rescue training australiaFire and Safety Australia (FSA) is now approved as the only GWO approved provider in Australia to teach GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) at our Adelaide GWO specific training centre and on-site at client locations.

Fire and Safety Australia (FSA) is proud to announce that we are the only approved provider in Australia that has received GWO international accreditation to teach GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) both on-site at client locations, and at our own training centre.

Following an extensive auditing process with Best Practise Certification at our Adelaide training facility, and on-site at a renewable energy construction project – FSA has received Best Practise Certification for both on-site ART training, and ART training conducted at our purpose built training facility in Adelaide.

The FSA GWO Technical Training Team and the FSA Compliance Team have worked extremely hard to develop an Advanced Rescue Training (ART) course that we feel strongly will become the standard for all GWO emergency response training within the renewables industry within Australia, and across the APAC region.

Fire and Safety Australia has been a GWO provider since 2013 and has been a Registered Training Organisation (RTO:22250) since 2010. FSA has grown our footprint to include trainers across Australia in all Australian mainland States. FSA currently works with many of the largest providers of renewable energy projects across Australia, and across all geographical regions of Australia.

FSA Chief Executive Officer Steven McLeod states ‘Fire and Safety Australia is extremely excited about this new industry leading GWO approved Advanced Rescue Training course, that we are excited to offer clients both on-site training, and the ability to come to our purpose built Adelaide GWO training centre. FSA continues to grow our footprint across the APAC region for the delivery of industry leading GWO training. A huge congratulations for months of hard work to the FSA GWO Technical Training Manager Matthew Skeldon, and the FSA Compliance Manager Tracey McKay, who have led the FSA team through to this exciting industry leading opportunity”.

During recent assessments, the auditor noted “…The use of technology continues to be utilised to simulate conditions likely to be present during a situation where the knowledge imparted during this course will be called into action. This use of technologies are innovative and likely to be highly memorable for candidates. The Adelaide fixed training facility continues to be improved to accommodate the delivery of the BST and ART modules in a safe environment where learning outcomes are optimised….”

FSA is excited to lead the GWO training industry in Australia with this new ART training course approval, and we expect to continue to grow our overall footprint for GWO training across the APAC region, building upon our existing strong reputation for world class GWO training delivery.
